Neuropsychology Services

Neuropsychological evaluations are provided for adults who may be experiencing changes in thinking, memory or behavior. These evaluations help identify the cause of memory, thinking or behavioral symptoms. Additionally, information gleaned from the evaluation helps guide individualized recommendations for treatment planning and maximizing quality of life.

A neuropsychological evaluation includes clinical interview and medical record review by a neuropsychologist, as well as standardized testing of memory and cognitive functioning (i.e., attention, language, visual-spatial skills, reasoning, problem-solving) by a psychometrician.

Results of the evaluation, including diagnosis and recommendations, are communicated by the neuropsychologist to the patient as well as the patient’s referring doctor.
