This procedure is useful in diagnosing:

  • Difficult or painful swallowing
  • Pain in the stomach or abdomen
  • Bleeding
  • Ulcers
  • Tumors
  • Problems with the gallbladder, pancreas and bile ducts

LeBauer Gastroenterology physicians established the LeBauer Endoscopy Center in 1992. Our center is licensed by the State of North Carolina, certified by Medicare, and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

Colon Cancer Screening

Colonoscopy screening remains an effective method of detecting early colon cancer, as well as preventing it entirely. In fact, if caught early, it is 90% curable. To make it easier for patients to get the care they need, we offer open access screenings, which allow healthy patients without significant symptoms to schedule their procedures without a preliminary office visit to see a gastroenterologist.

If you would like to see if you are a candidate for an open access colonoscopy, or if you have any questions, please call us at 336.547.1718.
