ABOUT
Board certified in pulmonary medicine and internal medicine, Nathaniel Meier, MD, specializes in critical care medicine and pulmonary medicine. He speaks English and conversational Spanish.
After earning his undergraduate physics degree at NC State University, he received his medical degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern and his pulmonary care and critical care fellowship at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
He strives to empower patients and their families to navigate what has become a complicated healthcare landscape. Also, he believes in making sure patients feel heard, collaborating to form a therapeutic alliance and leveraging many resources when patients are sick.
In his spare time, he and his family love being outdoors, especially surfing at the beach and hiking and backpacking in the mountains.
