ABOUT
Jonathan Dewald, MD, specializes in critical care medicine, internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. His professional interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
After earning his undergraduate biology degree at Wittenberg University, he completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Tennessee in Knoxville and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Tufts University.
He prides himself on getting to know his patients and building trusting relationships, which he believes are the backbone to establishing good patient care. Having trained in small community hospitals and medical facilities known for leading medical advancements and research, he leans on these experiences daily to guide and support patients and families faced with complex, often fast-paced critical care needs.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling around the state, especially on outdoor adventures.
“I grew up watching my grandfather and father practice medicine and was inspired by their dedication to their patients and community. I strive to bring the same level of care and compassion to my patients every day.” Jonathan Dewald, MD
