ABOUT
C. Laura Gonzalez, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care provider who sees patients at LeBauer Pulmonary Care in Burlington. Her professional interests include advanced bronchoscopy techniques for the diagnosis and management of lung cancer and other pulmonary diseases and palliative care for end-stage lung disease.
Dr. Gonzalez received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School where she also served as chief resident during her internal medicine residency. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary diseases at the University of Virginia at Roanoke-Salem.
She strives to provide the best advanced care to all her patients and believes in providing empathy and good communication in each interaction. Dr. Gonzalez values serving patients within a community setting like LeBauer so that patients can receive quality, trusted care close to home.
In her spare time, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys gardening, photography (using film!), playing Native American flute, and hiking. She is also passionate about dogs, especially her rescue Greyhound, Rafa.
