Biography
Rakesh V. Alva, MD, FCCP, has been with LeBauer since moving to Greensboro in 2008. He holds four medical board certifications; those are in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine.
He has earned numerous awards throughout his career for both his medical expertise and his volunteer work. His research has been published in journals, books and abstracts throughout his career. He worked in South Carolina for four years before moving to Greensboro.
His hobbies include reading, running and tennis. His preferred distance is the half marathon.
