My first experience with Dr Hernandez was not too pleasant I didn't think she had a very good bedside manner but this visit that I just had was much different she was much more informative she was much more willing to answer questions and she kept me in the loop of what I'm going through with my diabetes I got pamphlets to read so that will be very helpful information on my behalf and her nurse got all that together for me but I hope in the future me and Doctor Hernandez can build a much better relationship

Being that I was there for a visit with her from a stroke being released from the hospital, the doctor from the hospital recommended me to follow up with my primary doctor, I would have liked for her to have recommended me to a heart specialist! But she was more focus on what the doctor at the ER had recommended me to do.

I liked all from front desk to the doctor. It was only the 1st visit so there will be some testing done as I'm due for several preventative medical tests.

The only problem I had on my last visit was that the MD didn't bring her laptop in with her and had to leave to go and get it to see what meds that I had previously taken to determine what to prescribe. I thought she was done so I made my f/u appointment and left. She followed up with a not in my chart. I would prefer to get a printout after my visit. I am sure the next appointment will be better because I will speak up to make sure the laptop is available to use for my visit.

I felt that Dr. H-A listened to me for for the first time since my life-changing surgery April 4 (NOVANT). I didn't feel rushed and she was sympathetic to what I have struggled with.

Dr. Hernandez Acosta knew everything about my hospital stay and surgeries. She offered suggestions to help with my care. She also noted I had a skin cancer on my head and sent referral right over to my dermatologist. Very personal & caring dr.

This visit was for a routine physical. The lab work for this physical was done after the visit with the doctor. Two issues arose from the lab work, and I had to consult with the doctor via MyChart days later to address these issues. If I had come in earlier for the lab work, we could have addressed these issues during the face-to-face visit. I don't mind coming in earlier for the lab work.
