Biography
Barbara Head, MS, SSP, LPA, is a specialist in school psychology and licensed psychological associate who specializes in developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders (ASD). She is focused on early diagnosis and intervention for children (18 months and up) and adolescents with ASD.
Collaborative and patient-centered, she is dedicated to enhancing the lives of her patients. In addition, she provides support to parents who are experiencing their children’s challenging behaviors and individual therapy to kids and teens using a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure response prevention (ERP) and mindfulness strategies to address concerns like anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and ADHD.
Working with children since 2007, she is especially passionate about supporting parents and families work towards their goals and live fulfilling lives.
