Screen for Life: Celebrities and the CDC
Screen for Life, a CDC action campaign focused on colorectal cancer awareness, is using celebrities to draw attention to getting screened for colon cancer. Through videos, infographics and magazines the CDC is working to reach men and women 50 years or older who are not regularly getting screened. Colon cancer can be prevented when caught early, by simply removing polyps before they even become cancer.
The CDC is not only providing celebrity testimonies but personal screening stories as well. Print materials including fact sheets, brochures and posters are also available so that you can help spread the word to friends, family and co-workers. Help stop colon cancer in its tracks by getting regular screenings and sharing your story with others.
