Cardiology Division:

    Medical Record Department:

    Qualifications: Medical Office experience preferred. Computer/data entry experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

    Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.

    Duties: To maintain medical record flow, ensure chart tracking is up-to-date and the chart retrieval process is guaranteed. To also insure that patient care information is available to clinical staff, patients, reimbursement and other core providers.

    Hours: Part time position, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

    Salary Range: Based on experience.

 

Gastroenterology Division:

Clinic Endoscopy RN II: 


    Qualifications:  Experience in administering conscious sedation required.  

    Education:  High School Graduate or GED.  Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.  BCLS.  ACLS a plus.


    Licensure:  Current NC RN license.

    Duties:  Assists physicians in providing patient care by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, recording medical history and medications, and maintaining timely patient flow.  Schedules patients for procedures and diagnostic testing.  Instruct patients on procedure preparation.  Orders, prepares and reviews patients’ medical charts.  Works closely with other nursing personnel.

    Hours:  Part time position available (20 hours/2 days per week), 7:30 am. – 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, rotating days off.  No call, no weekends, and no holidays!

    Salary Range: Based on experience. 

(2) Clinic Certified Medical Assistants: 

    Qualifications:  At least one year experience.  Knowledge of medical office policies and procedures to administer patient care.  Excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills.  Good computer skills. 

    Education:  High School Graduate or GED.  Graduate from a Medical Assistant program.  Medical Assistant Certification required.


    Duties:  Assists physicians in providing patient care by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, recording medical history and medications, and maintaining timely patient flow.  Schedules patients for procedures and diagnostic testing.  Instruct patients on procedure preparation.  Orders, prepares and reviews patients’ medical charts.  Works closely with other nursing personnel.

    Hours: 32 hours/4 days per week, rotating schedule, Monday to Friday and 40 hours/5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Front Desk Receptionist/Registrar: 

    Qualifications:  Excellent customer service and communication skills.  Detailed oriented and able to multi-task.  Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.  Excellent computer skills.  One year experience required.

    Education:  High School Graduate or GED.

    Duties:  Check-in and check-out patients; verify patient demographic and insurance information; collect co-pays; and schedule follow-up appointments.

    Hours:  Full time position, 7:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Primary Care Division:

Qualifications: Previous scheduling experience preferred in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Word processing and computer experience required.

    Education: High school graduation or equivalent.

    Duties: Greets, instructs, directs patients and visitors. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and make appointments. Serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff.

    Hours: Forty hours per week; Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
